On August 16th, I’m headed down to UNC-Greensboro to talk with students about Podcasting and Portable Media, the future trends and a basic “how-to”. We live in a day where technology and media have never been more integrated. While I’m there I’ll be hanging with Jack Bonney – General Manager for WUAG-FM and adjunct faculty at UNC-G. Jack is being featured on an upcoming episode of THE DROP (releases 4/10) about the project the radio station has been collaborating on called Taylor 25: A Nostalgic Retrospective. It’s a 2-disc set that features national acts like Hem and David Bazan and pairs them with local heroes like the Caroline Chocolate Drops for equal parts stellar entertainment and hipster cool.
